Focus

Dealing with difficult people can be distracting, frustrating and energy sapping, energy that can be better put to causing success. Attraction to or repulsion from others drains vital energy by causing reaction, albeit emotional, it’s far more energy draining and distracting than you think. Innerwealth coaching with Chris is primarily focussed on keeping you honest, focussed on your purpose, vision and ambition, hence, reaction to others, good or bad, becomes coaching topic #1. It’s the single most important result of Innerwealth coaching. Why? Because energy wasted on things that do not produce results, is self depreciating, and self-depreciation leads to lowered self-worth, lowered net worth and higher emotional sensitivity to the small stuff.

“If you can’t manage your emotions, you can’t manage your money”

Warren Buffet

On Target

Spend a week on someone else’s problem and you’ll be two weeks behind in your target results. Spend a month handling someone else’s stress and you’ll be six months behind in your target results. Knowing your target beyond pleasing others, or dead ends, or poor managerial decisions, or bad decisions on your part is no fun. In fact, it’s the primary source of domestic disruption. Working on our highest priorities builds our self-worth, working with resentment, self-righteousness and frustration lowers our self-worth and the result of low self worth is domestic crisis. So, On Target, On Purpose, On Track becomes our #2 objective and a significant part of Innerwealth Executive Coaching.

Win or Fail

For too many years Corporations have made the mistake of compartmentalising the development of people with the aim of increasing productivity and yet, the total human being, the heart, quality of life, relationship and other aspects of the human condition have been ignored. But don’t be too fast to blame the corporation… they are just people, and people treating themselves in a stupid and unconscious way, leads to corporations treating people in a stupid unconscious way. We do not succeed in a bubble. Compartmentalisation is the perfect short time solution to create high focussed performance (Formula One driver going through a divorce needs focus for a One Hour Race). But if we don’t deal with the muck that we start to accumulate outside the bubble of compartmentalised time, we eventually crash, emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally. And this topic is getting more and more serious because we’re getting more and more hoodwinked by nice user friendly management systems that do not punch through the BS to deal with cause. No Joke… because as we place greater emphasis on hyper accelerated decision making (See McKinsey Report on the Future of Business Leadership) the demands on individuals to bring their total capacity to work, including their heart, creativity, inspiration and non rational intellect, means we need a coach to be objective, tough love, honest and not bound by the culture and rules of the corporation (independently employed not a corporatised coaching firm). Innerwealth executive coaching is the toughest on earth and therefore increases probabilities of success by stripping off accumulating muck, to help individuals fully turn up, 110% in every walk of life.

Attitude

The single grip that holds most people down in business and sport is attitude. A topic that is often solved intellectually by visiting seminars, books or weekend feel good retreats, attitude does not change until “How we think” is separated from “what we think.” What we think, like there’s a right and a wrong way, or there’s a boogy man out to get us in life, or that we’re a winner or loser in life, or that we’re in a loving or not loving home is easily addressed by a therapist, motivational speaker or friend, but how we think is at the root cause of those attitudes and beliefs. If how we think is not addressed, one solved attitude issue is replaced by another, the what we think might shift, and simply be replaced by an equally ugly thought in another aspect of our life. Hence, real human development focusses on both how and what we think. Innerwealth Executive coaching focusses on both but places a powerful respect for the how as a priority: You can’t love one person and hate another, nobody treats you better than you treat yourself, nobody does to you more than you do to yourself, you are the environment you create, the size of your vision determines the size of your life, the purpose of a relationship is not happiness, the secret of a great relationship is self-reliance, people collude to co-create for different values, low self worth comes from pleasing others. The list goes on, it’s not just what you think, it’s how. This is the education element of Innerwealth Executive coaching and it has over 108 levels to master.

“We cannot solve our problems at the same level of conversation in which we
create and maintain them.”

(Albert Einstein – paraphrased)

From this diagram you’ll see three key ingredients of individual success. They are:

  • Personal Brand – Perception of you and working with you by others.
  • Personal Belief – Do you have authentic self respect, self-talk, self-awareness, fulfillment and self-confidence.
  • FACTS – Is what you do a service that can be separated from you and Personal Brand, Personal Belief, Automated and Systematised well enough to cause others to believe it can be repeated over and over and over, with or without you?

It is impossible to be sustainably promoted with significant pay increase unless all three of these elements expand and improve together as one. A brilliant achiever in their own mind, who does not have the ability to promote this in the minds of others, will fail. Also, if the process an individual follows is completely intuitive and not a “system” then the vulnerability from client and peers is going to be almost of “guru” proportion and will rarely be trusted, if not rarely, it will require a lifetime of validation. This is rare. Innerwealth Executive coaching is the only human development coaching program on earth that covers the three in balance, building a profile while dealing with emotional and personal beliefs that could hinder or over exaggerate an individual’s true value (most often the case). This is therefore a guaranteed path to self, career and financial growth on a sustainable, authentic and long term basis.

This topic will be covered in podcasts to come.
