Maintaining a Healthy Balance – Your Daily Power Hour

Scattered through your day there are practices that keep the doctor away. Not only the doctor – the lawyer, the therapist, the banker, the healer, the psychologist ….. you get the idea. If we cannot devote one hour, scrambled into 1 – 5 minute moments throughout the day, we are really saying “what I do and what I want are more important than my way of life.” That would be materialisation gone crazy, almost not caring about yourself while you create something you want.

There’s a balance, not using time, but using effort. You can be balanced in all seven areas of life simply by adding my power hour to your day and make it your own. Put the items on your daily schedule. set alarms and create check sheets to see how many days you can go without forgetting or becoming complacent. Remember, it’s hard to do good if you don’t feel good.

Power hour

  1. Wake before sunrise – Be Alone
  2. Morning gratitude exercise – Be Thankful
  3. Tai chi – Be Connected
  4. Yoga – Be Humble
  5. Burst Training – Be Energised
  6. Corpse Pose – Be Visionary
  7. Protein Shake – Be Grounded

Daytime Practice throughout the day:

  1. Stand tall – Be Centred
  2. Emotional Shower – Be Present
  3. Big Breakfast – Be Nourished
  4. Medium Lunch – Be Refreshed
  5. Give thanks for small mercies – Be a Connector
  6. Visualise your vision (love to list) – Be a Leader
  7. Do your affirmations – Be Committed
  8. GIVE – Be a Community

Evening Practice

  1. No food after 6.00pm – Be Kind
  2. Turn up at home – Be Love
  3. Do a Thank You Review of the day – Be Spiritual
  4. Prepare an Inspired Tomorrow – Be Energised
  5. Before sleep count your blessings – Be at Peace
  6. Digital detox from 8.00pm – Be Real
  7. Visualise your visions before sleep – Be Certain
